It’s legos- fun to put together but when you play with it, it might fall apart!

I already bought a lot of toys from star wars lego, but this is just for collectors it doesn’t have nothing of fun for kids. My kid is sad because he expend more than 30 dollars in this toy.

I find it hard to understand why at Lego Design Headquarters they can come up with so many beautifully engineered sets, so that a youngster can assemble and learn from that effort, yet not understand that a child will want to play with the set too.
Assemble this Tie-fighter and let a child play a little with it and the wings come off. The arms that connect to the inner sides of the large wings are really narrow, with the wings held on by only 2 or 3 points. If the child playing with this set is really unlucky, more comes apart than the wings. The set will even disassemble when you are trying to install Darth onto his seat.
If you won’t become frustrated by having to reassemble this set basically every time your child plays with it, until you’re nearly blue-in-the-face, then go ahead.
Otherwise, I’d look elsewhere for a Tie-fighter.
